The trip from Ko Phanghan to Ko Phi Phi was a bit of a nightmare, again! We left Ko Phanghan at 7 on the Fri morning and we were suppose to get into Phi Phi around 8 that night. Things never go as they should in Thailand. Our ferry was late so we missed the connecting ferry on the west side of Thailand, which meant we had to stay in a place called Krabi for the night and get the ferry to Phi Phi in the morning. It was all an extra hassle that Peter and I could not be bothered with. We eventually got into Phi Phi around 2ish on the saturday. Phi Phi is the most beautiful Island we have stayed on. It is so small that no cars are allowed on the Island and you can, if you want, walk all the way around it in no time at all. Phi Phi was badly affected by the Tsunami so a lot of building work was going on. It was a bit strange laying on a beach that had been hit by the Tsunami. We stayed on Phi Phi Don and the Island next to that is Phi Phi Lai which is where they filmed The Beach. We stayed on Phi Phi for 4 nights and if I am being honest we did absolutely nothing apart from go to the beach and drink. Our intention was to go to Phi Phi and have a quiet few days. We did not expect to encounter so many attractive female Scandinavians which inturn made it harder for us to stay in!!! We left Phi Phi on wednesday and we are know in Penang. I will update the journal again when we leave Penang. I am still having problems with the photos. I am not sure if its me being useless or the computers but I will keep on trying.
