Yesterday was a very lazy day for us! We needed it!
We got up in the morning and headed downstairs for the breakfast the hotel offers. It was yummy.. and we had unlimited coffee and orange juice, which was right up our alley ;-) Our waiter was a really nice local man who we talked to for a while. He suggested that we swing by Ouray when we leave Thursday and check out some of the ice climbing they do over there, so I think that's what we are going to do! :)

We spent the rest of our afternoon laying around the hotel room, watching tv, napping and reading. Then we went back to Smuggler's brewpub for dinner... one of our favorite places here :-)

I forgot to mention dinner at Allred's the other night. What an insanely beautiful place! It sits on top of the mountain, you can only get to it by taking the gondola. The view was GORGEOUS, and we had a delicious dinner.... Joey had Elk and I had veal... sooo good.

We also found a new love of ours at the pool the other day... a giant, steep water slide INSIDE our hotel that goes into the indoor pool. Umm.. fun! I think it's Joey's favorite part of the whole trip ;-)

We boarded a little bit this morning, and are headed to another local bar for dinner. Then we will pack up and head out toward Vail in the morning!
