Well it finally happened, the ceiling fan over my head which has been making me increasingly nervous over the past few nights collapsed on top of me, splattering blood everywhere and killing me horribly. Or so my dream went. It was enough for me to do something about it however, so i attempted to move the beds in the room about so that i wasnt directly under the fan. The beds were too big to manoeuvre though (as my room is the size of a shoebox) so i ended up actually dismantling the beds, had the penknife out and all, and reasembling them squeezed over in the corner of the room where i can safely cower away from the creaking fan. If you turn it past '1' it starts shaking violently and groaning, It goes up to '10'.
On other pressing matters, i locked myself out of the room aswell yesterday, and they didnt even have a spare key and i watched as the guy broke his way into my room with nothing more than a screwdriver and a very small hammer. Very reassuring! So i carry all my valuables about now in my bag.
I will leave my thoughts on bangkopk and Khao San road etc till my next blog, i just wanted to ramble a bit here! Met up with Hayley today, one of the people i'm doing the Everest trek with in a few wks - she left for Nepal today. We had lunch etc, got on fine, should be good company.
On that note, adios...
