Well, back in Bangkok...again. It ain't all bad, infact its pretty good. Khao san road is only one small road out of many, so i try to avoid it now. Only here for a day and half then onwards to Singapore (again...i know, who the hell booked my flights?? im ziggzagging my way across S.E Asia..) then onto Sydney to finally meet Emma. Can't wait, and it will be good to back in a civalised western culture - there only so much harrassment while walking down a shopping...

Riiiiiight...last day here, leave tomorrow morning at silly o'clock for Kathmandu. Bangkok then, or more specificly, Khao San Road where i have spent most of my time... Other travellers reading this who havn't been there yet, heed my words carefully and don't say I didn't warn you! People say you either love it or hate it on Khao San - Indeed, I managed to do both, most of the time simulataneously which confused myself sometimes. 2-3 days here actually staying...

Well it finally happened, the ceiling fan over my head which has been making me increasingly nervous over the past few nights collapsed on top of me, splattering blood everywhere and killing me horribly. Or so my dream went. It was enough for me to do something about it however, so i attempted to move the beds in the room about so that i wasnt directly under the fan. The beds were too big to manoeuvre though (as my room is the size of a shoebox) so i ended up act...

Arrived back into Bangkok from Chaing Mai yesterday morning, minus the two NewZealanders who flew out earlier. Headed straight for KoShan road where we said our goodbyes to Chris who was heading of to the islands. Hung about all day with Luke and Aidan, drank a few Chang beers (at 7.2%, 3 beers is enough to send anyone on their way!) then had to say goodbye to those guys aswell as they were also heading south to the islands. I would have gone but I have to watch ...
