After a sleepless night and more sushi on the plane, we were beginning to wonder whether we were ever getting away from the Japanese culture. However, we arrived in Sydney on Wednesday morning and were greeted with high temperatures, sunshine, and our own personal guide to show us the sights of Sydney. Although we were only planning to stay in our hostel for a few nights, we are still there a week and a half later. We've met some great people and have spent many nights down at Sidebar, the hostels own bar. Due to Nikkis empty bank account and broken camera, and one working phone between the 3 of us, we decided a change of hostel would help our budget. However, as soon as we arrived at our new destination, the smell, heat and dirt made us realize that a lack of money was the least of our problems. So ten minutes later we were running back to our old hostel, begging to sleep on peoples floors. We have now begun our job hunting and have joined up with several agencies that promise us some form of work, so things are beginning to look up!
