Cotopaxi and Baños We went to the Secret garden hostel in Cotopaxi, a volcano. It was 3500 metres up, then the volcano was 5000m. We didn´t actually climb it. THE AMAZON So, Tuesday morning the 6 of us ( Me, Josh, Candi, Susan, Leah and Remco) set out to the amazon. So tomorrow we are going to the Amazon for 4 days! Really excited! We are going with a great group of 6 people. Should be wicked. We have to leave the hostel at 7am and get a flight, on what we think will be a rickty old plane, from Quito airport into the jungle, then we have a canoe trip for 2 hours down the river to our lodge. It was a choice of a 30minute flight for 60 dollars more or an 8 hr bus journey on un-made tracks up, down and around mountains. Come on...
