Cotopaxi and Baños

We went to the Secret garden hostel in Cotopaxi, a volcano. It was 3500 metres up, then the volcano was 5000m. We didn´t actually climb it. Candi came with Josh and I and we met ppl there. Who are actually now in Baños with us. Candi went off and did a horse ride and Josh and I hiked up a river, bit like a gorge to a waterfall. it was sooo dangerous thought, the rocks and mud were so slippy.

we spent 2 days at Cotopaxi, and I must say my poker skills are really coming on!The weather was very much like England, adn it just looked likeI was in the lake district or something. Except there was no electricty so everthing was by candlelight when it was dark.

On Monday we left cotopaxi and came to Baños. It is such a nice town.....dani you´d love it, kinda reminds me very slightly of Brighton! Just alot smaller. Gone out both night i´ve been here and obviously got nice and drunk. I think alcohol may be the main source of my weight gain while i´m away!

Candi, josh and I got a masage yesterday and then Candi and I got a pedicure as well. Talk about luxury! It is just sooo cheap it is nice to paper yourself once in a while!

My Spanish is slowly coming on, althgouh fortunately ive always been with ppl who are better than me so i let them do there work!

Just about to go and do a bungey, rope swing thing ff a bridge! Kinda scared, but hopefully should be good! Then tomorrow Josh and I are off back to Quito to meet a girl Charlotte on Thurs night then we are taking a bus to Columbia on Friday. SCARY!
