Hi,

So we are still in Lima! The bus strike finished last night, thank goodness, and for a while there we were thinking we would have to fly out of Lima!

It was only meant to go for 24 hours, then the next news we heard was that it had been declared 'indefinate' and that protesters had been blocking the roads out of major cities with giant boulders, and throwing rocks at the busses that did try to leave! So we have been stuck here waiting since Monday...

Haven't done a hell of a lot, a bit of walking, looking at shops, the usual!

Did, however, buy a mini laptop the other day, which is very exciting!! It's super tiny and cute and I love it!

So now we have net where ever there is free wifi!!

Not much has happened to report about (well that I can think of at this very moment). We have another weird roomie called Alberto (our nickname given to him = bertie). He had a big night last night and came home at 5am this morning, used his lighter to find his way to the bed (don't know why seeing as it doesn't get overly dark in our room). He then proceeded to have a ciggarette through the window of our room and then started asking if anyone in our room wanted to go for a run ?? Weird! When no one respsonded he was like "come on guys, lets go for a run, woooohooooo". Lol.

Anyway, the bus strike has been lifted now so we are back on the road tomorrow heading toward Cuzco. From there I will do Machu Picchu and then we both head onwards to Bolivia. Yay!

What's been happening at home? I won't lie, I am missing home quite a bit the last couple of days, so update me on what's going on at home please! I miss you guys!
