Meal two: Indian food
Bought at Camden Canal Market
One of my favorite areas of London is off the tourist beaten path, far North of the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abby.
The Camden Canals are delightful.
My girlfriends and I walked them until it lead us to horse corrals turned outdoor market.
From sunglasses, vintage clothes, African masks, to Turkish delight, this market is an indie haven.
And they've got a melting pot of food too. English, Japanese, Chinese...
And Indian.
My best friend and I got this for 4 euros. We chose three out of six plates on display, including spiced garbanzos and potatoes, curried veggies, atop steaming white rice.
Side sauces also included, from a yogurt creme to a oiled spiced vinegar.
What a steal. Kept us full all day, including to and from our endless walk to Abby Road. ...
