I got up and went for a walk to try and find Durban Square but the directions I was given weren't that great so after walking the maze of streets I decided to head back towards the hotel and find the tour agency who does hikes. I found them a few blocks up from the hotel and went in and booked a hike, which goes through the Kathmandu valley. There was also a New Zealand couple that were also looking at doing the same thing.
After booking the tour I went and got some lunch at one of the local restaurants, which had one of the highest terraces in the city. It had an amazing view of the Himalayas but unfortunately there was a bit of smog, which made the view not so great. Still it was amazing to be here looking at the Himalayas.
After lunch I went for more of a bit of a walk then ended up back at the hotel to use my computer and load up some photos. The power went out around 5.30pm so I decided to go out a grab some dinner. I ended up at this place called Ying Yang, where I had my first Nepali meal. I had a chicken curry which came out on a tray with 4 gold goblet looking things and it just looked all too complicated for a curry but the waiter must of seen my confused look and told me to put it all on my plate and mix it up, which is what I did and boy did it taste great.
