What an eventful day today was!!! We left the hotel at 8am for our leisurely 6 hour drive to Antigua! About an hour in we were suddenly stopped by a huge traffic jam. Apparently the teachers of Guatemala had decided to strike today and blocked the road. After 4.5 hours of hacky sack, rum shots, reading, heads up and general mucking about we were finally moving again. With the remainder of our 6 hour bus drive to go. We got into Antigua at about 6:30pm after 10 hours on the road. Our last dinner as a group was at a little cafe called the Rainbow cafe and it was delicious. Then it was off the La Sala, the local club, for ladies night! Free entry and drinks for the girls, $1.50 cover charge and full price drinks for the boys! It was a great night that ended with a long stumble back to the hotel and a long goodbye with the group and Ernyk. Everyone else had one day left.
