Slept in late today and went and had brunch with Ellie, Camilla, Kelly, Linn and Pernella. The others went waterfall jumping. After a bit of a gossip and chat we went wandering through the streets of Ataco/Concepcion looking for things to buy! It is pretty small so this only took about an hour. We then went back to the hotel and chilled out. For dinner we went to a local Papusaria where we all loaded our plates with the yummy goodness and devoured them for a mere...

Woke up late this morning and went for breakfast at a local place in Suchitoto. After a bit of a wait we took our Papusas and fruit smoothies to the nearest park and ate while looking at the extraordinary view! We then hit the road for Ataco/Concepcion. Once we arrived we headed on an orientation walk and up to the cross of the hill which had breathtaking views of the town and it's surroundings. Drinks for Australia Day came next followed shortly by dinner.

Travel day today! Left the surfing turtle resort at about 7am heading for Suchitoto. Long day ahead of us. Started the travel by boat for 5 minutes, then it was a private van for 4 hours. Then it was a quick border cross out of Nicaragua and a 2 hour boat ride on a little boat that looked like a fishing boat. Needless to say we all got drenched but it was entertaining. Lunch and another border into El Salvador and we were back into another private van for another...
