Early start to the day today. Got up and went into the supermarket to buy all the toiletries I couldn't get in Cuba. Then caught the public bus back to the hotel. Did my washing (for the first time in 2 months) and researched hotels for Fort Lauderdale and Lima. Then went down to the beach and lay around listening to music for about 2 hours before it started raining. Spent the afternoon watching criminal minds, skyping liv and reading. Early night tonight.

Checked out of Rolando's Backpackers today at 11am and went to the airport. My flight was sposed to be at 2:45pm but when I arrived it had been delayed until 7:50pm. Oh my god. Spent 7 long hours in the Havana airport trying to entertain myself with not much luck. Finally got on the plane and left at 8pm. Got into Cancun at 7:45pm after a 45minute flight. Got a shuttle taxi to the Fiesta Americana Villas and checked in. Didn't do much that night, just had a bath ...

Checked out of Poc-na today and headed to the ferry at about 10:30. After a bit of a wait I finally got a ferry heading back to the hotel zone in cancun. Once arriving I flagged down a bus and headed into the city. Got off at the ADO bus station and wandered down to my hostel for the evening. Stashed my big bag and went for a walk to find a travel agent to book a Cuban flight without much luck. After about 3 telling me there was no availability I finally found on...

Another day of relaxation here on Isla Mujeres. Got up late, had breakfast, read my book on the hammocks and then went for a wander around town. Had a look at flights to Cuba with not much luck. Met an American guy in the arvo and chatted to him about South America. Got some good recommendations on where to go. I slept in late this morning and woke to find, to my dismay, that the hangover from yesterday was still alive and kicking. I read and watched movies in the hammocks all morning and finally emerged from the hostel at about 1pm in search of lunch. Had lunch while sitting on the wall next to the water. Then wandered back to the hostel to watch the hot boys, once again, play volleyball topless. I guess if I'm going to be hungover that's the way to do it!
