The next day we sailed out to a really quiet bay where the snorkelling was really good and fishes came right up to you.
But, as I'd been snorkelling in the great barrier reef and I was shamefully stuck very hard into a book I was reading I decided to stay on the boat and sunbathe while the sun was out.
After snorkelling, we all ate dinner and then it was time to head back to Airlie beach. The sea was really rough again and again it consisted of me nearly sliding along the deck because I was too busy reading a book, instead my last pair of sunglasses (I brought 3 pairs) slid across the deck but luckily were saved haha.
When we got back to Airlie beach I picked my main rucksack up from the hostel and then used the Internet for a little bit before Rachel snuck me into her hostel so I could use her shower. I then realised I had left a bra on the boat... Annoying!!!
Anyway, we went out for food, drank some cider and then I walked to the bus stop to get my overnight bus to 1770 which was completely uneventful and just consisted of lots of broken sleep.
