If you want to ski, snowboard, skydive, bungee jump and just partayyyyyy then Queenstown is 'the' place to be!!
Skydive try number two for Lucy .... And FAIL!!! Weathers too unclear again, which really sucks because we all wanted to go and watch but luckily for Lucy she's heading back to the north island so will have another chance to do one. I'm just super relieved that I did mine in Taupo when I had the chance because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do one and it was such a beautiful day that day.
(have since spoken to Lucy and the weather was too bad for her in Taupo, boo!)
So instead we decided to look round the town and then go up on a cable car or gondola as they call it (not getting that one) to where they have a luge ride, which is basically little cars that you sit in and ride down this hill, I'd done it before so decided not to bother. While Alice and Tim went on it; myself, Lucy and Arianna just messed around being idiots!
We also went into a little coffee shop where a girl that Lucy met in Melbourne is working now so we all went to say hello.
Then we ate some yummy cookies from Cookie Time which is a New Zealand brand they have here.
Later that evening, we decided to try the Queenstown legend which is a Fergburger!!! They're basically just huge burgers, but they're all made from fresh ingredients and there's all different sorts of topping that you can have on it.
It's a pretty small little shop with about 4tables in it, and the place is open something like 23hours a day and there's a queue constantly, it never stops being busy.
The burger itself was really really good and not expensive but Mr Fergburger I think you need to invest in a bigger shop!!
Afterwards we went and met Lucy's friend where I tried my first ever mulled cider and I tell you what people... It won't be my last!!!
