Back in Sydney after sleeping through the whole flight and the trains back to the city centre were cancelled so they were putting free buses on to the centre which was perfect for me.
I'd arranged to meet Liesbeth, who I met in Byron Bay, as she'd very nicely said that I could stay at her house in Sydney which was really cool. So we met up, then headed back to hers and just chilled out on the sofa watching the Olympics. That night we got the bus to Byron bay and met Matt, Liesbeth's friend and went to a restaurant called Hurricanes. They're like Australia's version of Damon's or TGI Fridays so I ordered the ribs and steak combo, and OH MY GOD!!!! The ribs were so so good and had so much juicy meat on them... I am in so much trouble when I get to America and I'm surrounded by BBQ food!!!
After that, we headed back to Liesbeth's and I went to bed as was up super early for the Blue mountains.
