My tan is very quickly fading and each day gets colder and colder so I decided today I should buy a coat. After about an hour dragging Edo round the shops I eventually bought a coat, so yay I'm warmish now!!
Then we walked down to darling harbour and took some very touristy pictures, before deciding that we would be cultured and go look around the contemporary art museum. They had some really interesting pieces but some of it was just way too bizarre for me and I really just didn't get it. We spent about an hour there then set off to meet Ella for tea: we ended up at an Italian where I had a yummy pumpkin risotto!!
Then the highlight of the night, we'd booked on to the ghost tour around the rocks at harbour bridge... Ooooooooo!!
The ghost host, as he referred to himself, was really good and really funny and he made it really interesting.
We got to go into little locked houses and down into creepy cellars, where he would tell us about the history and usually a ghost story or gruesome murder to go along with it.
Some of the stories were quite sad, and it was really interesting and a fun night but it definitely makes you wonder how much of it is embellished. I'm guessing quite a lot, as before you could ask any questions he'd walked off to the next stop haha.
After that, we stopped in this really cute pub that had an old English vibe to it and had a couple of drinks. There was an Australian guy in there playing piano which was really cool and it's made me want to learn piano even more.
Another awesome day in Sydney done!
