After rave reviews of the Carlos blog, he is now taking over for today.. Quite frankly, I'm hurt and offended. From now on this is called Carlos' pearls of wisdom. ; )
Today we went to the Louvre. Still in fear of the Parisian subway, we decided to once again walk. A thirty minute walk is not so bad these days even given Alisha blistered foot. On a side note: if purchasing a cheap pair of shoes it would be worthwhile wearing socks as a precautionary measure to prevent unwanted blisters. On this occasion the museum was open so it was a good start.
An entry fee of 24 Euro gave us the opportunity to:
• walk further
• mix it up with large crowds
• view countless paintings of slightly overweight nude women and unusually toned nude men
• and of course catch a glimpse of the Mona Lisa which as Alisha correctly states is an average quality piece of art
A tip for would be travellers to the Louvre: everyone always says to arrive early so as to avoid the queues. We got there at 1pm and there we still long lines but when we left at 2:30pm there were no lines. My tip is to go there in the arvo.
Over and out.... Carlos
(Alisha) We went out for dinner. It was s***. We were supposed to order fancy French food. Yet again we fail. I got steak and chips (boganing it up to the max) Carlos a cheeseburger and fries. My feet hurt, so no Sacre-Coeur or walk by the Seine during the night. We suck even more than I thought was possible. Night!!

S Think we need two blogs a day, from each point of view. Be like a Jodi Picoult novel, seeing the same thing from all sides!
alishapee The peoples choice is Carlos! Now you get very short concise blogs haha
Stack What's next on the cuisine list?? Parma? Pie and sauce?? Enjoy the trip while you can!!
alishapee Hahahaha! I don't know when I became such a bogan! Since meeting your brother I think!
