After a long, long day of travelling I arrived at the hostel (at 6am) to find out I couldn't check in until 12noon.... Luckily two german girls are in the same position so we all went for a drink from a cafe and are now just trying to waste five more hours until 12!!

Singapore airport was really nice - compared to the airports in the UK. It had this cactus garden/outside bar which was still boiling hot (outside) at 8pm. Very humid. Inside the airport there was loads to do like go to the spa, have a manicure/pedicure, massage, eat/drink, shop... there were cinemas etc but by the time I had sorted myself out I just got a smoothie and read for a few hours.

Flight to Darwin was fine, didn't sleep so my body clock is all over the place, even though its nearly 7am here I feel like it's time for bed soon! Hostel looks ok, aren't allowed to our rooms yet but can use the facilities which is handy!

Been on the constant look out for spiders and snakes, none so far touch wood. But then I have only been here for an hour....

It's 20 degrees at the moment so goodness knows what the day will bring today! Definitely some snoozing in the sun somewhere and an early night!
