Today we got the bus to a cleaner and quieter beach called el saler. It was so quiet we even got to stretch out on the cushioned beach chairs with an umbrella, usually they're all taken. It didn't feel as hot as usual on the beach. The sun was hiding behind the clouds which is why all of us knodded off to sleep! Bek had to prod us to wake Molly and I up. That's when we realised we had been asleep for about half an hour under the sun. Thank god none of our stuff had been taken, woops. Molly and Bek basically transformed into lobsters, but I hardly got burnt because mu chair was near the shady umbrella. Then when we went into the water, Molly thought she got stung by a jelly fish and leaped onto me, basically drowning me. However, Bek and I weren't convinced by the puny little rash on her arm haha. So it was a fun filled day at the beach. We ate a plate full of chicken paella and had an ice cold sangria all for 6 euros at the hostel. We got chatting to heaps of english guys who were really friendly. We ended up playing a dunking game called the' ring of fire', and we stayed with our new besties and the ausse girl emma all night at the hostel bar. A nice way to send off Valencia.
