hello from Koh samui! My plans went a bit crazy getting here but I did make it and have had a great couple of days. I met some awesome lads in Phi Phi who were going to travel there with me but they kept postponing and eventually said they were flying so Rob and I decided to go it alone. Well, it was nice and easy getting to koh Phi Phi, our first island stop, just an hour and a half on a boat from Krabi and me and girls stepped off at the port. I wasn't quite prepared for what I was confronted with- there's nothing in the guidebooks about accommodation because everything was destroyed in the Tsunami and the lonely planet had 2 hostel choices. Today has been a massive day of travelling, travelling and more travelling so I'm knackered now. The morning started, waking up in our sweat pit room in the Perhentians that stank of toilets! nice! We got a morning boat to the mainland of Kuala Besut and a taxi took us from there all the way to the Thai border of Ranau Panjang.
