Have spent my first night on the island and I'm feeling a lot more chilled out now, there's not a lot to be stressed about- shopping, eating and sunning myself. The weather is still ridiculously hot although it feels a bit oppressive today like its trying to rain.

Last night we got all dressed up for a long awaited night out and visited a few bars drinking these spirits out of buckets- the boys had so much whilst we watched the argentinians get knocked out the World Cup.

Achieved very little today other than a lot of rest. the air conditioned room is heaven sent as I've been tring to stay out the sun today-the tan can wait.

Considering a Thai massage to occupy myself as mark is having some "guy time" with lads he met off the boat.

England are playing at 2 in the morning over here and its all very tense but if I'm in a good enough mood tommorrow I want to do a boat trip to the place "The Beach" was filmed. Oppy wants to rock climb so he'll probably do that. I'd love to do the big cliff jump here but the small one in New Zealand hurt my ears and has made me too scared-plus I'm not sure if they have many safety rules in Thailand. Having a great time over here but for the first time I've missed home a little and wouldn't mind just popping back to say hello for a few hours!
