Today we woke up late, as we planned to have a relaxing day. We made our way down to breakfast, and had the usual. After we decided to go to the catacombs, but we didn't actually know where they were. Lucky we had a map with tourist information sites on it. We thought. We woke up had breakfast as usual, stole some nutella and jam for lunch, and then went out. We planned to go to the Eiffel tower today, but ended up detouring quite a bit. We walked from our hotel down to l'Opera, The Palais Garnier and saw the building, and what a building!!! Fantastic carving of the musicians through time, gold statues, big copper domes on the roof, it was fantastic. Just huge, and I think it is a museum, which is cool, but we didn't go in...

Our first day in Paris started off really bad. We woke up at around 8, and it was still pouring down rain. Fantastic we thought, but not really, it was s***. We had our complementary continental breakfast downstairs which included toast, bread rolls, pan au chocolat, cereal, tea, coffee, OJ, and Yogurt. Not bad, filled me up pretty well.
