I am now sitting in an internet cafe near the temple of 'wat phikun thong', in a wierd set of what seems to be mental institute clothing... it's what we have to wear for our temple stay. The past few days we have had a fair bit of free time, which we have spent exploring sing buri town. Yesterday we learned all about buddhism and the holidays they have and their meditating techniques. Then earlier today we met some of the monks, who came over to our crib for a little chat and a nibble. Now we are at theirs... I think ours has a few more luxuries.

We have an hour long session of meditation tonight which should be interesting, I wonder how I will get on with it. I've decided to follow the monks 'no eating after 12 until the next day' rule. And if I can do it the others will buy me a biiiig pot of dairy queen ice cream. phenomenal.
