We went to 'dan's bar' Wednesday evening to meet all the others from lemon house and twin house. Really really nice people! Dan (aka dan the man) will drive to you from his bar, leaving his wife in charge of the bar, pick you up or free and take you tithe bar, or he sends a taxi, which he pays for. This means he gets The custom of ALL the travellers! Went and stayed in lemon house, it was brilliant. We have decided as a group to move from brown house to one of the others, there are so many more people, so many different characters and personalities... kinda feels like we are missing out.
Thurs morn free, so I why to pool in sing buri town with some if the people from lemon house. Normally it is silent aparently... imagine 40 or so 12 yr old Thai boys shouting and screaming.
I came back and the others were in twin house so I walked to find them... To cut a long story short I had one of the scariest experiences if my life. Imagibe beong lost on thailand, alone, no money, no water, no knowledge of how to speak thai, waljing solidly gor 2 and a half hours! But I made it home in time for the Thai cooking lesson which was TASTY! Noodles and the like.
Today we visited money village, monkies GALLORE! All different sizes, just running about the town here they please, stealing yakult (they seem to really really love yakult!) lots of baby ones, and lots of photos to come. In the afternoon we visited another temple and practiced a bit of meditation. Very nice and relaxing.
