SPAIN TOUR 2010
We finally made it to our apartment in Barcelona - 21 hours after leaving Bradenton. Along the way we had the usual minor travel snafus, but just prior to leaving New York for Spain Melissa received a text from one of her best friends at school that her father had just been killed in a car accident in North Carolina. Needless to say, this put a damper on our transatlantic flight. We love you Kayla and your family is in our prayers.
The apartment is wonderful, only 1 block from the FC Barcelona Soccer stadium and right on one of the main thoroughfares - Gran Via Charles III. After a brief shower and nap, we are about to head out into the city on our first adventure. It is raining, but should clear up later tonight or tomorrow. Sure hope so.

nanc sooo glad you got there safely and so sorry to hear about kayla's tragedy, will be praying for her and her family.....it might be raining but at least it's raining in SPAIN not here .....love ya nanc
Terry I echo Nancy's sentiments both about your reaching Iberia safely and in our condolences to Kayla and her family, our prayers will too be sent. As for the rain, you should be fine; I read somewhere that the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain. The urban centers then should be relatively rainfree, it would follow. Can't wait to read more Brother Blogger!
