Scuba diving on Great Barrier Reef completed! This morning we jumped on a katamaran for a day full of sailing, snorkelling and diving on the reef. We were a small group of 15 persons who spent the day on the boat. It was really a nice sail out to the reef! When we reached the reef we jumped in the water for some snorkelling! Lots of amazing sealife and beautiful corals! After that we got to try scuba diving! It was really scary and exciting -all at the same time...

Tropical thunderstorms... That's what we are having at the moment! We drove up to Townsville the other day and decided to go to Magnetic Island for a few days. Magnetic Island is said to have over 320 days of sunshine per year! Riiight, well we saw a few hours of sun yesterday and lots and lots of rain... And today thunderstorms and puoring rain - no sight of the sun! We came here at a good time didn't we?! Lovely beaches, pretty rainforest areas, amazing reef...
