Scuba diving on Great Barrier Reef completed!

This morning we jumped on a katamaran for a day full of sailing, snorkelling and diving on the reef. We were a small group of 15 persons who spent the day on the boat. It was really a nice sail out to the reef! When we reached the reef we jumped in the water for some snorkelling! Lots of amazing sealife and beautiful corals! After that we got to try scuba diving! It was really scary and exciting -all at the same time! Tomppa and I got to dive alone together with the dive intsructor...! There were some scary moments though when Tomppas mask broke deep down in the water and when I got a bit disoriented and panicked for a second! But amazingly close we were to the reef and all the colorful fish and other sea creatures! Simply amazing!

Now we have a few days here in Cairns, before heading off to New Zealand! The weather is going to be really poor the last days though... According to the forecast it's going to be "heavy rain" for the next few days! But it doesn't matter much... A few rainy days is okay! We've been quite lucky with the weather until now so...
