Aim's in Africa
THE AFRICAN SUN
Having a great time still! had a nice weekend off work!
Went to the iguana on friday with everyone, where we have made friends with the manager who brought us a 'straw rum' each - its the strongest shot in south africa at 85%!
saturday we went to nelspruit to the cinema - saw narnia, and shopped, found the south african version of primark - mr price, got new skirt and tops for tenner!
On sunday the temperature reached bout 38 so we sunbathed in our newly rescued garden (was v over grown before) then we went swimming and i've burnt all the backs of mt legs from my arse to my feet - its a classic!! little painful too!!
Had a very good morning at work! feels great when that happens. some of them have a real grasp for english! I was teaching them parts of the body totally on my own! they were getting up and shouting and i managed to get them to sit down and listen! tryed to teach thenm the full version of head, shoulders, knees and toes but i'm not sure it got through!! they are all so sweet when they do the alphabet as they stop at p and go back to l to finish! i'm gtting better with the names! one boy Lunga who's 6 keeps pretending shot me then dance with me! its a little strange but he's really clever! As well as being fun and rewarding its also hard work, bit like having 30 Pheobe's (my little cousin) wanting your attension, to play and be picked up!
