So currently blogging from methven hub - the cafe . Which is situated firmly between the 'blue pub' and the 'brown pub' . I figure this reflects the entire essence of the place - simples .

So onced I had mustered the guts to get out of bed and say hello to my new friends (wither they like it or not) . I proceeded the three steps into town . It is so small and sweet .
Food shopping time - well now we all know this is not my fortay.. I get distracted and don't have that 'mad skills' one would hope for when cooking . I've got the basics , bread , pasta and rice ... Life can't get to hard !
Continue into the bank - appointment for 2pm ! Sweet that is three in the morning for me ... I will not be fully functional .
What was really sad actually was walking past some of the old buildings , where the earthquake has taken its toll. Like the public library and one of the churches are still completely barred off from the public .
Anyway, Back to cook some cuppa soups !
