Boo!
So we picked up our car today very new it's only done 1100 km silver ford focus Manuel. With plenty of bells and whistles to make our ride enjoyable.
We headed to the botanic gardens of Glasgow to Kibble Palace which is a big hot humid green house. Alistair is a bit of a green finger. We had pizza for lunch and the others had Persian.
After heading in a northbound along route 82 and stopped at Glen Coe ski resort. There were a few pockets of snow up the top. We caught the ski lift up the top then back down. It was very similar to Thredbo where it's all converted to mountain bike paradise! It wasn't to cool and the Glen was amazing as well as the Bens (mountains). It was pretty warm 19degs with thunder looming but it held off. We went through Fort William and saw Ben Nevis the highest point in the UK
Shortly after we headed west along the 830 and we stopped at Glenfinnan where the hog warts express went through ( ie u can see the bridge where the train went across). Across the road is a monument where apparently Dad used to run across then up the stairs and back down quickly!
The drive from Glasgow is amazing very much like the High Country. We are currently in Mallaig having lovely fish and chips!
Hope all is well back home everything going well here lovin it!
Things I have noticed again!
- deer signs are everywhere haven't seen any yet!
- the call speed humps humped pelicans!
- and what we call crests they call blind summits!
Just some more random facts for you
