Hello, We are now in Chiang Mai after leaving Bangkok last Wednesday evening on a VIP bus which only cost 3.50 each. For your 3.50 ou get to use the disgusting toilets at the so called service station (no loo paper), and on reaching Chiang Mai you are dropped off at a out of town petrol station and sold to various guesthouses. Well we made it to Bangkok safely and have been exploring parts of it for the last 5 days. Our guesthouse called New Siam II is actually really nice for ten pounds a night and even has a swimming pool, which is really useful in this heat.
