Had a local bus ride to Potosi Keeley and I were sat at the front and it was not bad had two seats althrough the gangway was packed with people. The rest of our tour at the back had a baby that was ill from both sides not so much fun. When we got to the hotel realised we had left our broken camera on the bus someone actually brought it round to the hotel for us guarenteed if it was working never would of seen it again. Potosi is the highest city in the world but felt quite warm after the salt flats. The main thing to do in Potosi is go visit one of the mines a bit depressing for me. So the next morning I went to the mint museum and Keeley had little look around town. The mint museum was huge and for the four of us walking round we had one guide and one guard with gun. I do not think they trusted us around all the silver.
That night had a short bus ride (3 hours) to Sucre. In the morning we looked around town booked our camera into be fixed. That aftrnoon I went off in the dino truck to look at the largest dinosaur tracks in the world. They were in the side of a quarry called Cal Orcko by a cement factory. The small park with all the replica dinosaurs making replica dinosaur sounds was fun. The sets of footprints on a vertical cliff I had assumed they would be on the ground were impressive. Unfortunalty you could only get so close best viewed through binoclers. The night after all the dino excitement we went out for some food. Keeley wanted a drink afterwards I said we go for one as it was our last night with the group the next night. So me Keeley, Keith, Paula (guide), Suzy and Micheal went out for a drink at about ten. At two we left the first club as it closed and minus Micheal went to another at four thirty we left the second club to go back to the hotel minus Paula who was off to another club.
The next morning we got up in the afternoon picked up our camera fixed and ate pizza again. That afternoon Keeley stayed in bed and I climbed a hill for view of the city unfortunalty cloudy so view not that great. Did bump into Micheal and played a game of chess lasted nearly an hour and a half and ended in stalemate. That night mine and Keeleys last on the tour we were knackered and were the first to leave. Our flight in the morning was delayed but did arrive in La Paz not the funnest airport to land in that afternoon.
