So the pork noodle soup was a bad idea, as once again I was struck with food poisoning :(
Before I realised the extent of my sickness I completed my rescue training and day of hell on the dive boat. This mainly consisted of French guys jumping off the boat and pretending to drown and me struggling to tow them back to the ladder while pretending to give rescue breaths! It was really difficult and I was starting to think it was a bit too much for me, especially when nausea struck. Thankfully my wobble (and projectile you know what) was down to the soup and not an aversion to diving (or the French!)
So after a stressful day and feeling rather sorry for myself I stayed in my aircon room for 24 hours sipping water, rehydration sachets and watching back to back episodes of ER. This seemed to do the trick and I have felt much better the last few days.
I managed a couple of dives today which notches my total up to 43 dives...not bad. Also saw some of my old friends a school of barracuda, brill!
The next week is going to be a bit strange because I'll be on the road heading up to Laos north of Thailand to renew my visa. Apparently doing the big trek now means I don't need to go out of Thailand until September so 4 days of boats and coaches will hopefully be worth it.
I'm off to charge my iPhone and kindle now...probably via the dive school bar ;)
Adios for now!
