Me again! After learning the first aid basics in the classroom all day yesterday, today was spent back in the water putting it all into practice. The dive school has a pool which was good and the 'victims' were all fellow diver masters so I had quite an audience! Pleased to say all went well and I managed all of the scenarios from panicking divers at the bottom of the pool to unconscious divers floating face down. It was scary and exciting and I loved every minute...
Got lots of reading to do tonight in preparation for tomorrow on the boat for the day of hell but it's great to use my brain a bit and get the old cogs turning again ;)
My instructor is Marilyn from France, really lovely and once I finish this part I will be assisting her teaching open water students over the next few months as part of my Dive Master Training. Really feels like I am making good friends here and will settle in well.
Exhausted in every way now so I am having tea of pork noodle soup and a pineapple shake then heading home for an early night!
Fingers crossed there are no 'cleaner' fish tomorrow, on my last dive they honed in on my mossie bites and cold sore..quite off putting.
Hope all enjoyed the bank holiday.
