Just a quick update to let you know what's going on. Arrived in Coffs Harbour a couple of days ago. Staying at the Hoey Moey backpackers place which isn't quite as clean as the last place but still quite comfy. As soon as I got off the bus I went for a long walk along the beach to the jetty and harbour. The backpackers place is right on a huge long empty beach but the sea is quite rough so won't be going for a swim there. Found out that I won't be able to get on a dive course until Saturday so might do it further up the coast and book ahead. That evening there was a free bbq at our accommodation and I met the 3 girls I'm sharing a room with (1 swede and 2 germans). Tried to get an early night but there was a heavy rock band playing at the bar so it was a bit tricky. Got up the next day, had brekkie and took a long walk into town then back again and to the beach for an hour or so, sunbathed and watched loads of crabs running around. There's not much else to do here now that I'm not doing my padi so gonna maybe go on a boat ride and have surfing lessons then move onto Byron Bay on Sunday. Haven't seen a kangaroo yet so might be asking for my money back at the end of the trip if I don't!!! Bye for now, Suze xxx
