I don't know how to describe it! We've spent the last 2 days at Universal Studios Orlando and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is AMAZING!! FANTASTIC!! AWESOME!!
We went the first day to Islands of Adventure, where Harry Potter World is. We spent a few hours looking around and Emma and I rode the main ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. In the end, we rode it 3 times after getting Brianna and Tara on it too. The queuing area is first through the glasshouse that houses mandrakes and the like before you head into Hogwarts. Down the first corridor, you come to the entrance to Professor Dumbledore's office, with the golden phoenix guarding it. After walking around it, you go through a few corridors and rooms filled with different talking paintings (some hating that muggles are being allowed into the castle while others are sure they have spotted the next quidditch champion amongst the group.
You then go into Dumbledore's office where he issues you with advice and instructions, concluding in 'If you see a dragon, please inform a member of staff and run - not necessarily in that order, of course.' And then you enter the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, where all the muggles are supposed to be receiving a lecture on the history of Hogwarts but Harry, Ron and Hermione have snuck into the room using the invisibility cloak to sneak everyone out of the lecture to a quidditch game. This is followed by walking down a passageway where the Fat Lady is waiting at the end (and she is horrified at having to let so many people pass...and without passwords too!!) and into the Gryffindor commonroom. The sorting hat is along the last corridor, where you finally get on the ride!! That's right...the ride hasn't even started yet!!
The ride is amazing - like you're in a Harry Potter movie. You dodge dragons, dementors, Aragog and other big spiders, fly through the Quidditch match and help Harry catch the golden snitch...for which we are thanked after too =)
