I have only one word to say about the Animal Kingdom: WOW!
This place is freaking HUGE! Seriously, I don't even think we'll get to see the whole place. I've even put up a map for you guys to see its sheer bigness. Now, do you guys see the African Safari area, to the northwest? We just got off, and it was AWESOME. The whole thing is a replica of an African wildlife preserve, with almost any native animal you can think of. Giraffes, Hippos, Antelope, Elephants, Lions... even Crocodiles are in there somewhere! (Thank god they're confined, because those things SCARE ME.) But be warned, fellow Safari seekers: In order to replicate the wildlife experience, your tour guide will say that you'll be staying in the preserve for 2 weeks, then cut it down to 45 minutes due to supposed "ivory poachers". (It's actually a very good performance, but it did confuse us tourists quite a bit!) ;)
Remember, though, that's just one continent. Heck, that's only one ride. Move your eyes on the map to the left, and you'll arrive in Asia, which also has an animal trek that has a total of 7 exotic Asian animals, not to mention quite a few birds. I highly recommend you go on it, because it will not only fit your stereotypical Disney zoo; it will also show many potentially dangerous animals.
But alas, what about the thrill seekers of the Animal Kingdom? I know your pain, my daring friends, and luckily, there are enough rides here to satisfy your hunger. Read the next blog for the main three!
