In a word, "yes!"
I grew up in California and went to Disneyland almost annually. Even as an adult, I still get excited going to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. I have always felt "Disney-fulfilled." And I do not think that people who have only been to Disneyland and have never Disneyworld are "Disney-deprived."
However . . . if you get a chance to go to Disneyworld, "Go & go for at least a week." It’s unbelievable. It's fun for the whole family. It's everything I imagined and much more. It’s surreal. It’s enormous . . . it’s gigantic. It made me feel like a kid again. They’ve thought of everything . . . really!
My only advice is to avoid eating inside the theme parks at all costs because the expense is outrageous. DW price gouges something awful. This is really the only negative I can come up with about our visit.
So, just plan to eat your meals outside of the theme parks the best that you can, and have a blast!
P.S. We went the week before Thanksgiving and there wasn't one line longer than 20 minutes. Most lines were 5 minutes!
P.S.S. We stayed at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground. This campground is as affordable as any other RV park, anywhere! Convenient, clean, affordable, pool w/ slide, tennis courts, food & enteratainment inside the campground, free transportation to every theme park; this is a great option if you're thinking of camping.
