San Francisco. Lovely city, biggest since New York. We spent our first day getting to know the city and generally haveing a look around. Today we went to the Ferry Building which has a famous indoors food market. Looks really nice, lots of cheese, fresh bread, meat, wine bars ect. We plan to eat lunch there tomorrow. We headed to Golden Gate Park which is like central park but not quite as nice. Lots of stinking scumbag hippy durg dealers by the entrance. We walked from one side of San Fran to the other and then headed up the coast to Golden Gate Bridge. We discovered a lovely little trail which hugs the coast line, the mist was rolling in of the sea and it created a really otherwordly feel. Golden Gate was obscured in mist but it was still cool to walk acorss a little bit. The suspension cables disappeared into the mist which looked cool. Really cold though as the sun was setting and the mist was really cold. On the bus back a Japanese women and her daughter were on the same bus and we helped them find where they were going. They asked if they could get a picture of me,Eddie, and the daughter. Very odd. Lots of crazies in San Fran just like everywhere elsein the USA. Heading out tonight. Tomorrow we plan to go to a baseball game. We have a train booked to go to Yosemite on Sunday and the campsite booked, we are spending three days there. USA trip is coming to a close which is sad but looking forward to spending a little time at home before Japan though.
