Well here we are day 38 on board and it's warmer and sunnier than the previous 3 or 4 days, it's 28 degrees and cloudless what a pleasure. Today we are sailing into Yemen waters and by nightfall we will be between Yemen and Somalia, prime pirate grounds.
Wendy is off to have her feet and nails done at the spa and I've been learning more bridge. When I get home I will need a patient partner so any offers will be favourably considered.
Wendy's nails have started to grow in the sunlight so she is celebrating by having them done at the spa.
I'm on the look out for any navy vessels today but none seen so far. Another chance to meet the captain tonight as we are invited to his cocktail party, I'll be there - just because the drinks are free!! And because he always has it in The crows nest which is where Wendy Barbra frank and I meet up every night.
The daunting fear of returning home is starting to dawn. We are both looking forward to coming home to see the family and friends etc. but going back to work after 10 weeks will be a real issue. That's if I have a job to go back to , I see in the papers that Police are having a referendum to see if we want the right to strike. The beginning of the end of vocational work, that won't help us nor our relationship with the public, but I guess the young guys have to stick up for their right for a decent living.
More dolphins seen starboard today jumping quite high I'm told of course I didn't see them all I've seen is box jellyfish in Australia. I must be more attentive. Barbara was on good form tonight living up to her name as Nanny Merlot! Wendy Was on the booze last night as well we didn't get up from dinner until 10:45 then off to the sports bar followed by the karaoke which we always enjoy. Enough for today...

Infanta Pirate-land now, stop walking on the deck at night, I'm sure we can arrange a "risk free" star's gaizing party when you get back ! Praying times! Take care
Infanta Just in case you are walking the plank tonight, don't miss the exciting sky first! A most beautiful cescent moon tonight, next to the dazzling Venus in the west! you can't miss it because Venus is the brightest object in the sky after the moon and the sun. Jupiter just beams below Venus and the moon! ;) Enjoy, but be vigilant!
