Well here we are day 37 on board and the second of five days at sea en route to Sharm el sheik. The weather has cleared the visibility is great again, shame it was so cloudy at Dubai. not too much to report today usual lying in the sun followed by a trip to the gym. Wendy saw a whale this afternoon which I somehow missed!
What I have noticed with the new arrivals in Dubai is that although I thought it would not be possible the age profile of the ship has increased. Maybe it's because it's a relatively short flight and you can sail home. I don't know but the way it is now anyone under 60 can qualify for the kids club. I have also noticed that when a new sector starts the ship is a little more stressed. The new People seem to be rushing to lunch and rushing en mass to dinner, then after dinner rushing to the theatre shows ..... For a good seat no doubt! Old people would run you over just to get in the restaurant before you or to get the row in front of you at the theatre...... Why is this? Did they have to fight for everything when they were young or something. Note to self don't turn out like the old ones on board when you get older.
I expect it will calm down as usual after 2 or 3 days, and they realise we will all get fed or we can all sit in the theatre.
After dinner last night Wendy and I went to the top floor of the ship and sat quietly outside looking up at the stars enjoying the newly clear skies. Then off for an early night, laying in the sun can be tiring and I'm not even kidding.
