Following my early morning jog it was off to the fish market near darling bay. There was almost as many Chinese as there were fish, and it's fair to say they were excited to see - and eat - all the fish there! Fortunately for you reading this you can't smell it, the fish market on a hot summer morning is a real nasal cleanser. In the afternoon we headed off to shark bay aka Neilson Park. What a gem, tree lined park with a secluded beach. We spent a lovely afternoon swimming there and catching a few rays. Our most pleasant time since arriving. Then it was off to bondi. Quite a contrast, bondi appears old and a little tired, I won't dwell on it but we stayed there about 30 minutes ! With evening approaching it was back to our favourite place to eat in manly, for another fine steak and mash.
I almost forgot whilst on our way to Manly I was mugged. Serious..... As I left McDonalds ( that was our first mistake) with an ice cream for Wendy and a sneaky cheeseburger for me. The the suspect swooped on me and robbed me of my newly acquired cheeseburger. Desc. White male 9" tall proportionate build large yellow beak webbed feet. Now I've never really liked seagulls but now it's moved to a different level. Little devil took the whole thing out of my hand and shared it with his accomplices. An international arrest warrant has been issued and there is a reward for the offender to be caught Dead or alive. So ended the 4th day.
