L: Day 2 in Las Vegas and finally some rest and relaxation. We gorged ourselves on the all you can eat buffet in the morning which kept us going all day beside the pool. Strategically placing our sun beds in the shade we all read some books with the occasional splash in the pool to cool off. No one got burnt, factor 50+ for this town! In the evening we took the bus to Las Vegas old town which we were all pleasantly surprised by, a bit cooler, less people and most of all less walking. We ate at one of Las Vegas' oldest restaurants at 11pm and then watched a few shows, themed from the 70's, cue Dave with some bad 'daddy dancing moves' - OMG!! The entertainment was excellent with a surround video tunnel, similar to IMAX stretching the whole of the casino mall.
With the children safely tucked in bed, Dave and I went downstairs to flash the cash on the Luxor casino tables until 3am. 'Lucky Mike' was our croupier and despite losing and winning it all back, Mike's luck proved better than ours...and we got cleaned out. I guess it helps if you know what you're doing on the blackjack table.
