L: After much needed sleep, we all awoke to a day of planes. We flew out of Ronald Regan airport, bound for Milwaukee, Wisconsin (the home of dairy and beer brewing apparently). Midwest air's USP is baking fresh cookies on board, an airplane cabin has never smelt so good, EasyJet could learn a trick or two from these people! A quick pit stop and then we jumped on another plane to Sin City, Las Vegas (more cookies and cheese curds were munched en route). We all got really excited to see the strip and our hotel, the Luxor. Upon exiting the airport, it is safe to say that Las Vegas IS A FURNACE. Imagine a hairdryer on its highest setting blasting into your face, while you're standing next to a pizza oven and you're getting close. We ventured to the pool at 5pm and it was still 100f, in the shade! We walked down the strip for dinner, settling for the Harley Davidson cafe, complete with rotating motorbikes above our heads. After dinner, Cameron made the assertive decision for us to wander further down the strip, 6 miles later the legs were fading and so we were in the heat. A stop off to see the Bellagio fountain display and we were all pooped. Cool beds were much needed...how will we cope tomorrow in this furnace?!
