Sitting on the bus on the way to the great wall, not much to do but kick back to some tunes, look out the window and write to catch up. Tomorrow we get on the train so it might be quiet from me through Mongolia. The good doctor is napping, so are Alex and tony, two guys on the train with us.
The good doctor got in two days ago and it's a couple of beers to start us off. We went out for drinks and dinner with an Aussie couple in ghost street (a nearby bar and food street). Meat to be cooked on the hot coals in front of you, spiced veg and 28longnecks was a good start to the night.... The toilets in this place was a experience I'll never forget, ever. A squat toilet is one thing, but when I was using the urinal, one Chinese guy is using the squat toilet when a drunk comes running in to spew, I think u can work out the rest!!! I left quickly, not wanting to get in the way of the fighting.
Later in the night after the couple went home, we decided it was time to kick on. Taught Luke the dice game, met some crazy Russians that just finished the train journey, Luke was buttering up a 31year old... He is a smooth doctor.
We have changed hostels, seen the forbidden city, the massive egg thing (photos to come when I get them off the cannon), the square, a crazy acrobat show and many funny stories.
Sarah is having fun, emailing me last night from a sun lounger in the south of jordan, been to Petra and through the desert.... It sounds so amazing!!!
Will talk when I can.
