so i did make it to china. it took a while and i did try every chinese drink they had on the plane, 2 beers, 2 wines, about 5 different teas and some cold drinks i cant quite work out.
got ripped off on the taxi from the train to the backpackers, and was in an arguement with the driver... neither of us knew what the other was saying but out of all the drivers i got it down enough. then he dropped me off in the wrong location and i walked with the full pack for a while, bout 45minutes trying to find the backpackers. i asked so many people, got there in the end. i was a little worried for a bit but then i realised i wanted to check out the hutong anyway and just accepted it. turned out to be good. got a couple of hours kip and off to three temples and exploring the hutong.
food on a stick = good
thought i should write something since i didnt get internet to tell mum i arrived.
spoke my first english minutes ago with a guy from manchester and a french guy.
anyway.......
