Ok...Im a bit scared right now, as Im sat in an internet cafe that smells rather fishy to say the least, and there is a really random guy wearing long socks and a short sleeve shirt sat next to me, who just did the sweatiest, grimiest belch that I have heard in a long time, and he keeps on smacking the keyboard and exclaiming "f*****g c***s!!!!!!",(which I feel is rather inappropriate!!!)
Anyway, I will try and be quick yet efficient so that I can get away from belch guy as quickly as possible!!!!!
Where did I leave off?? Yesterday....yesterday, Mum and I had a really nice day together, as the Sun was shining again, we decided to go on a walk that I did with a few friends a couple of weeks ago, and started by catching the Bus to Coogee beach, where we lazed around for a while and enjoyed the weather. It was really busy, but strangely, (but good) it was really peaceful, and we lay there for about 2 hours catching some rays.(Although Im still not holding out much hope that I will ever become more than a shade darker than the albino that I always have, and always will probably be...)
The walk takes you all the way from Coogee along the coast, along about 4 different beaches (that I cant recall the names of...doh!) and the cliff faces, and a really nice graveyard (which, I know sounds wierd, but it really is nice, as far as they go, as it is right on a clifftop and looks out onto the ocean, and its a really beautiful view!! Pity that none of them can se it, mind...)
The highlight of the day, for me, was when we were people watching over one of the walkways over onto one of the beaches, there was a really obvious looking transvestite having a photo shoot or something, wearing a long chiffon dress, full make up, and a massive Auburn afro wig....y'know, the general beach attire..."she" was knelt down in the surf, posing, and trying to look all "seductive" when a massive wave came up behind and knocked "her" flat on face, and coverred her from head to toe in sea water, totelly flattenning her wig and drenching her dress....it was soooooooooooo funny, but typically, as I was doubling up in stitches at what I had just seen, Mum was looking in the other direction, space cadetting, so I was the only one that saw it!!!
Anyway, after about 3 hours of walking in the sun, we were both exhausted, as we hadnt yet eaten, but we arrived at Bondi Beach relatively unscathed. It was still absolutely packed, even though it was getting towards sundown, but Mum didnt really want to sit on there as she is going to stay near there for a few days after New Year, so she will go then. I went before, so I wasnt really too botherred either, and besides that, its better to go before the mad rush of sunworshippers make an stampede to the bus stop, and it becomes a nightmare trying to get back to the city again. So after a quick drink, we headed back, only to be sat in front of the most irritating people that I have ever had the misfortune to sit in front of...ever (and thats a lot!) They were two ok-yah-darling lesbians, that insisted on inserting the phrase "its f*****g hot" inbetween every other badly constructed sentence, and telling the whole bus about their sexual exploits at the top of their voices, like anybody cared. They sounded like two Paris Hiltons with Ozzy accents sat behind me, but luckily they got off quite soon, but not soon enough to prevent them sucking the very life energy from within me, and when we got off the bus, Mum and I had really bad headaches, that were probably from a combination of walking in the sun all day, not eating, and those two annoyances behind us, so we went straight to the foodcourt and got a Curry, which barely touched the sided of my mouth I ate it so fast, and licked the plate clean practically!
It was only about 8ish, but we were both so tired that we decided to go back home for the night, so after saying goodnight to Mum, I headed off back to Commonwealth street, where I was both shocked and amazed to find that one of the guys had actually CLEANED THE KITCHEN!!!!
Yes...you read it right..cleaned the kitchen!!(Well, it was probably only superficially clean, not hygenically clean, but, I gotta still give credit where credit is due...the sides had been wiped and the floor had been mopped, and the bin emptied, so it was a lot better than it was!) Im still never going to cook in there, but at least there wasnt a stench of general fowlness coming from there anymore!!
I was also a little taken back when I was talking to them later in the evening, and they told me that they had "a few friends" coming to stay in the next few days, which they wanted to let me and Marie know about, so we wouldnt be surprised when they were there, which I thought was good of them, until they divulged that their "few friends" are in actual fact "about 10..."
Sorry....WHAT? What does about ten mean??? Is there none of them and two legs coming??
I think that they are taking the piss just a little bit there, but I supposed that there was nothing that I could do to stop it at such late notice, so I left them under no uncertain terms that I would not be accepting any late night noise, or early morning queue for the bathroom. And despite all that, where the hell are they all going to sleep is another matter!? The house is a small terrace for gods sake, and is full enough with the 6 of us that live there normally!!!
I shall have to wait and see, although for some strange reason, something inside me thinks that there may be a little bit of confrontation somewhere along the line....
I think that they are under the impression that just because we havent been there for that long compared to them, that they can basically do whatever they want and I wont complain. They evidently dont know me all that well, because Im paying the exact same rent that they are every week, and I am not going to have the piss taken out of me, boys...
....little do they know, that I am cunning, and there is more than one way to skin a cat....I have arranged to meet the landlady in the morning to pay the rent, and if they are all there having a whale of a time, I would like to see them explain that away!!!!mwahahahahahahahahahahaha....
Anyway....onto today...
The weather has been pretty crappy, after the few good days I suppose that it had to rain, really, so Mum and I decided to go to the cinema, which was an absolute RIP OFF, as I had to still pay six pounds fivety, and that was with the Student Discount!!!tttsssskkkk...
The film was pretty good though, a feel good movie, and it did make me laugh, and I liked that there was a bit of an environmental message in there, too. (Everyone knows that Im a vloset swampy, dying to emerge!!!lol)
Afterwards, we went shopping.....you know that its always a dangerous activity....but, to our defence, it was all sale stuff that we bought, and all practical, and really cheap, so its not that bad...honest!!
I actually got some real bargains (which I suppose that nobody who knows me and my bargain hunting talent is surprised about..) as I bought a shirt, two t shirts, and a pair of shorts all for the bargainous price of twelve quid!!! woohooo!!(dont it make you feel good when you get a good BARGAIN!?)lol.
Its still chucking it down, although burpy guy has been well behaved for the past 20 minutes, so Im not in such a hutty to leave now!!
Thats about all I have to tell you...apart from that when I go home, I dont think that Marie is going to be very happy, as I am going to tell her that Im moving out of the room, as I cant stand to be full of lumps and bumps, not be able to use the kitchen or bathroom without severe caution, and having the guys that live there taking liberties. I know for a fact that she wants to stay, so an interesting discussion may ensue...she only wants to stay because its cheap, but the way I see it is, although its extra stress to move again, even if it means moving back into a hostel again, at least I know that the hostel is bloody clean!!!!!Even if it does cost me a bit more money, I will be a lot happier, as at the moment, the whole situation is just stressing me out, and thats not what I came here for, and I certainly dont need it, so I am not going to put up with it for any longer than I have to!!
Like I say, though, "interesting discusion" may occur tonight...nevermind if the circus has rolled into town and set up camp in the house.....
Actually, Im definately not in any hurry to go back home now....I think I'll stay a little while longer....
Cia for now my friends!!!
Good night, make sure the bed bugs dont bite!! (God, Im neber going to be able to say that phrase again without being reminded of that bloody room!!!!hehehehe)
Loadsa love!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
