Sailing and snorkelingThis morning we were woken up early for breakfast, and then we sunbathed on deck until we reached Whitehaven Beach, a beautiful long white stretch of sand on one of the islands. We spent a couple of hours there, and the girls did the introductory scuba course, which I wasn't allowed to do because of my asthma - I'm not bitter! The tender then took us back to the boat and we had tacos for lunch while the boat sailed to Luncheon Bay. Once we had moored offshore the tender again took us to the beach. This time it was very small and the sand was filled with coral and shells. We went snorkeling there, and saw some amazing fish and coral underwater, and also two dolphins and a turtle further out at sea. We then went back to boat, and stayed moored there for the rest of the night. For dinner we had roast chicken and mash potato, and then got to know everyone a bit better by playing some drinking games - one of them involved picking up a cardboard box, which got smaller and smaller, using only our teeth. I got a bit competitive, and ended up being in the last few!
