Well, what an unforgettable Xmas!!
Bondi was brilliant, not as overcrowded as we expected, Gemma and Sarah got told off by the surf rescue within five minutes, having some sun at long last was so good!!
Xmas day was freezing, we persevered and went to the beach togged up in santa hats and jumpers, it was funny to see everyone shivering on the beach!! We had Lunch with friends of Sarahs family, the suckling pig was delicious despite the upset it caused the veggies!! the group consisted of the most eccentric people I have ever met, there was much drinking and dancing, the 70 odd year old host wanted to show us his rhythm, after some stylish twirling ended up in the pond and fractured ribs ( he,s fine now!)
Boxing day was glorious weather, we spent it soaking up the sun and swimming in the massive waves on Bondi.
We are back in the city now, we completed the bridge climb, the views were amazing and it certainly wasn,t as scary as i thought, the most hary bit is the ladders at the very beguinning. The girls went one step further yesterday and chucked themselves out of a plane, needless to say my feet were firmly on the ground hitting the shops!!
We are heading to the beach and shops at Manly today for a relaxing day, need to prepare for the new year celebrations tomorrow. Much love everyone xx
